Alternative Provision
At Smart Body Sports, we understand that every young person deserves an educational environment where they feel safe, understood, and able to succeed. Many of the children and young people who attend our alternative provision experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Some also face additional learning challenges that make traditional classroom settings difficult to access.

We are here to bridge that gap—by offering a structured, nurturing, active and personalised approach that helps each young person grow in confidence, resilience, and achievement academically, socially and emotionally.

Understanding the Needs of Our Learners

Many of the young people we support have experienced challenges that impact their behaviour, engagement or mental wellbeing. These may include:
Young people with SEMH may struggle with:
-

-

SEMH needs often affect how a child feels about learning and how they respond to everyday school expectations. Our provision is carefully designed to support them in a holistic, sensitive and consistent way
